I’m 23 and starting to build a long-term portfolio in a Trading 212 ISA.

➕ Adding: £50 every week
🎯 Goal: long-term investing + early retirement (slow and steady approach)

I’m not trying to time the market or get rich quick — just focusing on consistency, learning as I go, and letting compounding do its thing over time.

I’ll be sharing regular updates on what I buy, how the portfolio grows, and any mistakes or lessons along the way.

Made another £70 deposit yesterday during the red day and currently up 1.6% this morning 😅

Trying to stay consistent and take advantage of dips where I can instead of worrying about short-term moves.

Not the finish I was hoping for after being up earlier, but days like this are part of investing.

Portfolio is currently up 1.7% on the day too 🟢

Day 1 update 📈

Portfolio is already up 1.1% today 😅

Obviously not getting carried away over one day, but it definitely feels good seeing the journey officially begin.

The real goal is still long term consistency — investing every week, staying patient, and letting compounding do the work over time.
