@Mister_Walsh Awful, never want to hear this! PM for Photoshop here and hoping to debug this. Did you have background save options on? Can check in preferences>file saving options. Save in background and autosave should all be on by default
The @Photoshop update includes Landscape Mixer, a new beta Neural Filter that lets you do stuff like this to a photo. Took this photo in Scotland years ago in early spring, here's the out of the box results just by adding winter, sunset, etc. So excited for where this will go
@MEANS1974 @BMooreCreativ @Photoshop Let's fix it all :) I'll DM you for more details on your workflow. We have fixed many issues related to color management/conversion errors, but not sure if they'll touch on your workflow
One of my favorite things in today's update of @Photoshop are improvements to the way gradients are displayed. They look soooo much better! Here's the same gradient the new way and the old way
@omershapira We spent a lot of effort this year reducing Ps crashes and abnormal exits, we have more planned for general performance. I want to revisit this thread soon too and cross these out :)
@M1cka_EL@Photoshop We have 3 modes of interpolation for gradients now, perceptual: interpolated in OKlab space
linear: interpolated in linear space
classic: interpolated in the selected working space
@adobemax is this week & a huge plus of it being virtual is it's free to tune into some amazing sessions from pros teaching creative techniques in all our apps. I'm doing a couple sessions on new stuff in @Photoshop but there's a ton of other goodness to catch. All are welcome :)
(1 of 2) Today we updated @Photoshop with a preference to enable the prior behavior of Save As. Save a Copy is the default method for saving a layered file to a flat format, but if you prefer the old way head to Prefs>File Handling>Enable Legacy Save As
