Yesterday, our king penguins Elliot, Ethel & Arthur, Gentoo penguin Schroeder, and southern rockhopper penguins Woody and Buddah took a walk outside in the snow flurries with the animal care staff. The walks are not pre-scheduled and do not occur on any regular basis. #stlzoo

Happy first birthday, Moyo! On Wednesday, May 17, 2017, our favorite horned baby, Moyo (“heart” in Swahili), was born to mother Kati Rain & father Ajabu. Over the past year, we have watched the black rhinoceros calf grow from 130 pounds at 1 week old to over 1,000 pounds today.
