@FrMatthewLC@HansFiene Oh wow...so are rainbows only seen in Mesopotamia? Or was that a sign given to all people? Or is the promise only good for Mesopotamia? The slope on your "hill" seems a bit slippery
@IssuesEtc..my son Gus (8 YO) wanted me to ask Pastor Conner: Since Jesus holds all things together, why did the world not crumble when he died. I tried my best to answer, and I think I did answer a while ago, but I failed to answer well enough. We were hoping Pastor might help!
@PastorAppel i think the sharper iron for april 13th is missing..i think the recording for the next day was posted
Thanks again for the great series as always!
@KFUOradio Hi Pastor Appel, do you think Isaac at the well "He sees me" could be a foreshadowing that the promise of Abraham's decendant will be applied to all people, not just the blood line of Isaac? Although the well was named in a more temporal manner, the promise "He sees me" can now
@RevFisk... years ago you spoke about Adam and Eve being barred from the Garden of Eden and how entering Church by what Christ has done for us now can be a picture of entering Eden. Years later this picture was made. Flaming swords laid down as the Angles announce Christ's birth
"The Lord is merciful and gracious,
Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.
He will not always strive with us,
Nor will He keep His anger forever.
He has not dealt with us according to our sins,
Nor punished us according to our iniquities.
For as the heavens are high above the earth,
So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;
As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
As a father pities his children,
So the Lord pities those who fear Him.
For He knows our frame;
He remembers that we are dust."
Psalm 103:8-14
I think we will be amazed one day when we finally understand how merciful and kind our God is. All our petty little squabbles will evaporate and we will see Him face to face.
