It seems as simple as “win and you’re in” for all of the top 16 except Ole Miss, Georgia and Tennessee. If I’m those teams, I’m running up the score each of the next two games if I have the chance.

There appears to be a lot of parity in college football right now, but I’m not so sure that translates to the playoff.

@Gridiron_Gospel I instinctively said Army isn’t in a conference but rather should’ve said that they aren’t likely to be one of the 5 highest-ranked champs. Either way, they’d need a top-12 finish, which isn’t likely.
