Judge was skeptical of many SEC claims.

SEC was forced to admit that substantial usage of LBRY was non-speculative.

Ruling in 4-8 weeks on summary judgement, trial seems unlikely

@ScottCBusiness Yeah I miss the competitions of staking LBC to be on the front page, or top 10 spot. Now I dont really see the purpose of holding a lot of LBC rn. At least then you could use it for more visibility.

@renryderauthor @LBRYcom I think there was a health and fitness author that sold her books on LBRY a few years ago 🤔. But yeah, people could sell their apps and everything on there. It's easier to get users and content creators of videos though. So maybe later they will advertise others

@renryderauthor @LBRYcom Well, since that channel is filled with copyrighted content, the only thing they could really promote is Gutenberg or Muse channels since they have books that are open domain or free use copyrights.

@renryderauthor @LBRYcom The Books channel has kindle books with the mobi format. I dont really know what you mean, but the other channels that I mentioned before are pdf books that can be downloaded or read in the app or website
