Final Fantasy was a huge part of my life growing up- I remember making separate save files right before cutscenes, and then recording them on VHS tapes, just so I could watch my favorite cutscenes over and over again.

I remember sleepovers with my cousin and we'd pretend to be asleep, wait for our parents to go to bed, and then sneakily continue playing whichever FF title we were exploring at the time. One of us with the controller, the other with a guidebook, navigating the adventure together as if we were members of the party.

Selphie from FFVIII was particularly special for me, I loved her energy, positivity and resilience- my first cosplay ever was her from Kingdom Hearts and then I eventually made her look from FFVIII.

Playing a Final Fantasy game just opened up a sea of nostalgia and just really warm memories, so thanks for welcoming me back into the FF community, I've missed it so much! ♥
