@MattWalshBlog 68 degrees? Geez, that's a bit extreme & I have places in both Houston & Tampa.
Not a Mamdani fan by any means but I see no problem with what he simply requested. Its better than what happened to us a few years back during the big freeze when the grid [knowlingly] collapsed.
Pennsylvania Rep. Eric Davanzo was removed from the floor due to his patriotic suit.
"She's like a scrooge."
Democrat Speaker of the House, Joanna E. McClinton, says wearing costumes on the floor are not allowed.
"If I wore a LGBT scarf, nothing said about that."
@crystaldigs@repmcclinton WTF? People all over the country are wearing patriotic attire today and tomorrow.
Stop being so petty & hypocritical... you in that green blazer are no stylist czar!
@SaraJacobsCA Go ahead and be disgusted, that’s your right. The rest of us are pleased with the outcome to protect our daughters and Biological women in sports!
Christine- it should be clear, cut & dry. Going for the throat is absolutely illegal in every sport, even MMA and cage fighting! No justification. Also…
As a former NBA team physician (76ers) for many years, who has sat through many many games up close, I can say without hesitation that WNBA players and officials have somehow been signaled and cleared to neutralize or even harm (for reasons I cannot fully understand) Caitlin Clark. Hopefully they will wake up and appreciate this league-saving extremely talented once in a generation player. Kind of reminds me of when our amazing Allen Iverson came in to the league. Although I don’t believe anyone set out to harm him, the league & refs initially seemed to do their best to try to neutralize him and (unsuccessfully) reduce his star-power. With Caitlin, it’s gone to a whole new and unacceptable level where I believe actual intentional harm is in play.
