National Volunteer Week is fast approaching and the National Ambulance Service will be acknowledging the work of CFR teams from across the country. All CFR's are volunteers who dedicate their time to acting as Responders; Coordinators of the schemes; and as Instructors. 1 of 2
In the last 70 days alone, 204 hoax calls have been made to NAS.
We treat every call as urgent and cannot assume that any call is a prank, but our paramedics need to attend to genuine emergencies.
Hoax calls cost valuable time, money, and maybe even lives.
