Although the Japanese government has announced that we no longer need to wear face masks except in certain places with risks.
However, many of us keep wearing them. Some are because of hay fever, but some are still aware of getting or spreading the infection.

SHOGA-YAKI (Pork Ginger): Stir-fried pork with onion (sometimes with some more vegetables) seasoned with ginger & soy sauce. Good with plain white rice. A typical menu at casual Japanese diners.

SAKURA-MOCHI (Sakura Rice Cake): Seasonal sweets. Sakura-coloured rice cake (sweet bean paste inside) wrapped in a salted sakura leaf. Domyoji temple style in the west and Chomyoji temple style in the east. Both good. Enjoy the taste of Spring.🌸
