Including the shooting at the Annunciation Church Catholic School in Minneapolis, there have been 286 American mass shootings in 43 different states (and Washington D.C.) in the 239 days of 2025.

Since January 1st, 2025, there have been 61 incidents of gun violence at schools where one or more victims were shot or killed.

Five incidents reached the threshold of Mass Shooting and fortunately no shootings reached the threshold of Mass Murder.

Of the five mass shootings, two were secondary/elementary schools and the other three were college/universities.

In this same time period we have had a minimum of 500 incidents where a gun was brought to campus but nobody was shot.
