Reception Scott and Year 6 Jefferson got together for the first ‘reading buddy’ session of the new school year. The youngest children loved choosing stories for the older children to read to them. 📚
On Friday, 4L had their first flute lesson with Mr Connan of @JsyMusicService! They learned all about the flute, how to hold it and even played their first note! They are looking forward to more musical fun this week! 🎶

Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed their time at La Hougue Bie learning about skills from the Stone Age as they handled flint tools,skins,ground barley with a quorn & explored the longhouse! This year commemorates the 100th anniversary of the excavation that unveiled La Hougue Bie dolmen!
Year 4 PE is now in full swing with weekly netball and swimming sessions with a focus on learning some new skills and consolidating existing ones! 🏀🏊🏻♀️
4J enjoyed their first flute lesson on Tuesday morning with Mr Connan. They are already making a pleasing sound with their new instruments and are looking forward to being able to learn a few notes and play a tune! 🎶
5CJ have had another fantastic day at the Scout Centre. They have taken part in a relaxing yoga session and also a walk around the area learning all about the amazing plants with Kazz from Wild Adventures. They finished off the day with a talent show and campfire!
5p spent their morning with Kazz Padidar learning about plants, which ones we can eat and which ones have medicinal properties, and tools for survival. To finish, they learned how to start a fire !🔥
5P had a brilliant evening at the Scout Centre yesterday! With a beautiful sunset in the background, they sang songs by the campfire and made smores! 🔥 Yummy!
