Determined to finish the Skaventide box before 40K 11th edition drops.
Starting with the Stormcast half and this Lord Veritant with Gryph-crow.

Prosecutors trio finished. These are my favourite Stormcast minis to paint so far. The wings could do with some refinement but overall very happy with how these turned out.

I used Strong Skin Shade wash on his hair and it left a really glossy finish. It looked wet, like heโd been out in the rain ๐ Not the result I wanted here but could be useful in future projects. Some matt varnish helped with the glossiness

These are the books from the Black Library Iโve read in 2025. The First Heretic was probably my fav. Iโd read Valdor just before and a lot of lore and insight in that book really informed and deepened what happens in The First Heretic. #WarhammerCommunity
Colours used - Oak Brown (base coat), Deep Grey, Company Grey, Runic Colbalt, Matt White & Matt Black. All from The Army Painterโs Warpaints Fanatics range.
My first attempt at NMM.
I tried to apply techniques studied from watching ACMinatures, Erik Swinson & MinaturesDen streams on Twitch. (Erik Swinsonโs Feedback Friday series on YouTube, in particular, is a fount of knowledge).
However the sprue connected to the model in some visible places next to armour trim that made clean up of the sprue joins a bit of a pain. So the building/modelling aspect gets a 7/10.
Snagged a copy of the Combat Patrol magazine with the Dark Apostle & his monk mates this week. Awesome minis, love the gothic style and pose like heโs conducting a sermon 10/10.
And this one suggested using Stabilizer with the Verdigris effects paint which was super helpful. (Lot's of great ideas/tips in this video)

My Grey Seer from the Skaventide box is complete! Very happy with the result. Made a lot of mistakes & learnt a lot painting this one that Iโll take into future projects.
(Also my entry into the #WarhammerChallengeCompetition for February)
