346 днів на «нулі» без ротації. 23 знищених окупанти на його ділянці оборони. Шестеро росіян, яких він особисто взяв у полон. А вдома сестра сім місяців не знала, чи він узагалі живий.

Сергій Криніцький із Білогір’я на Хмельниччині до мобілізації працював будівельником і розводив кролів. Зростав із бабусею, допомагав по господарству, навчався на зварювальника.

У 2024 році його мобілізували. Після підготовки Сергій став піхотинцем 24-ї бригади імені короля Данила й вирушив на Донеччину, в район Часового Яру. На фронті його знають за позивним «Сєронька».

Перший вихід на позиції тривав три місяці. Потім було 12 днів перепочинку.

20 квітня 2025 року він знову вирушив на передову. І залишився там на 346 днів.

Ротація була майже неможливою: підходи контролювали російські дрони. А залишити позицію означало поставити під загрозу сусідні рубежі.

Росіяни постійно штурмували. Під час одного з боїв до українців наблизилися дев’ятеро окупантів. Двох Сергій знищив у ближньому бою, ще сімох — разом із побратимами.

Загалом він очолив відбиття щонайменше шести ворожих штурмів.

Їжу, воду й боєприпаси доставляли безпілотниками. Та частину з них ворог збивав. Іноді захисники по кілька діб залишалися без постачання.

Поки Сергій тримав позицію під Часовим Яром, його сестра Аня намагалася дізнатися хоча б одне: чи живий брат.

Сім місяців вона не чула його голосу. Телефонувала, шукала інформацію, зверталася по допомогу.

Одного разу після звернення на гарячу лінію їй повідомили: Сергій живий! А на її прохання пообіцяли передати голосове повідомлення від нього.

Після 346 днів оборони воїна нарешті вивели з позиції. Скористалися сприятливою погодою. Перед виходом Сергій знищив своє укриття, щоб ним не скористався ворог.

5 травня 2026 року йому присвоїли звання Героя України з врученням ордена «Золота Зірка».

Після лікування та відпочинку Сергій вирішив продовжити службу.

Під час відпустки він побував у школі. Побачивши усміхнених дітей, не зміг стримати сліз.
