State of Play was a 9/10 imo. Wolverine, Until Dawn 2 and God of War: Laufey were the highlights for me. Anything from Intergalactic would’ve bumped it up to a 10 but it was a solid show nevertheless! 🔥👏
For years it was:
“Sony games are all cinematic movie games.”
“No gameplay.”
“Overhyped walking simulators.”
Now the same people are angry when Sony doesn’t launch on PC. If the games were that bad, why are you this upset about missing them? Pick one.
The moment Sam’s lie got exposed in Uncharted 4 was one of the greatest plot twists in gaming. The craziest part is Naughty Dog made us play through the entire lie
Absolute masterclass storytelling.
Intergalactic The Heretic Prophet Details so far:
–The most ambitious & most expansive Naughty Dog game yet
–Scored by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross
–This will be the deepest gameplay in Naughty Dog’s history
–This game is shaping up to be our wildest adventure, most creative story yet
–inspired by Elden Ring, cowboy Bebop, Akira & back to the future
can’t wait for this one 😤
Love the emphasis on world building! I remember Neil saying in an interview that the team didn’t start with gameplay or plot, they started with deep lore. IIRC he said they created “thousands of years” of fictional history for the religion tied to Sempiria. I’m there day one!
