@zach_profit Killing spray until after it headed out. Rye seed and chaff plugged the radiator. Rye wrapped the closing wheels. Going to take a few years off. Only way I do it again is if I contract the local drone guy to kill it.
@zach_profit I have cover cropped for about 10 years. Started with radishes after wheat. Easy and died in winter. The last few years I have had cereal rye flown over corn in Sep. Does awesome at weed & erosion control. Skipped fall spray. But 2 of the last 3 yrs wet springs delayed 2
@PatricioOWard made me an even bigger fan today when he went out of his way to sign my grandkid’s tickets and Noah’s Pato shirt. We always have breakfast on the golf course behind our seats and the grandkids have their annual golf competition.
Yesterday forecast called for a quarter inch overnight, dry and 80’s next week. Thought we would get finished next week. .95 overnight and now the forecast has rain Wednesday. Farming is fun, they said.

In the forecast. As they packed up radar showed rain coming. 30 minutes after they finished it was pouring. As soon as the rain ended, Robert, the owner called and said we will be back tomorrow and reseal it. It looks great. I would highly recommend them for paving or sealing.
