“In Cincinnati, we knew we were going to take Joe Burrow pretty early.”
“That’s a bit of a different story. That’s not what this draft is right now for us.”

@BuckReising@TwoRiversFord Took too many sacks at Jackson State, stepped up a level to FBS took even more sacks, and I expect that trend to continue in the NFL. Can’t win big games. His TO worthy plays would be higher if he didn’t take sacks instead. Something will have to give.
@BuckReising@TwoRiversFord Coaching. The whole organization cannot rely on rookies to come in and save the franchise. FA will be tough as the team with the worst record, we need to fix the team at hand and only rely on rookies to supplement that, if they do more great.
@Titan_Holaday He was accurate because he was unwilling to throw a risky ball, and that can be good. However I see that translating into even more sacks in the NFL as the windows are tighter and the players are faster. It definitely explains why he took a lot of FCS sacks and then more at FBS
@JLT2009@TicTacTitans I’ve watched every single game of his senior year. I also have been following Renner for years and he’s usually pretty close. There are also many other people like Brugler who agree. Even Jim Naggy says these guys would be fighting for QB 6 or 7 last year.
@TicTacTitans Jim Naggy said he doesn’t think either of this QBs would have been top 6 last year. This is a guy a lot of people wanted as the assistant GM and he’s been doing the Senior Bowl for awhile
.@seniorbowl Director Jim Nagy, in citing the historic nature of the ‘24 QB class, said of ‘25: “It’s certainly not last year. I don’t know if any of these guys would be in the top 6 last year.”
