The Celtics are the first team to have three different starters (Luka Garza, Baylor Scheierman, Ron Harper Jr.) with 0 points in a playoff game since starters were first tracked in 1970-71.
@Joseph181525 @GinaHinojosaTX Maybe that’s because their schools are too focused on teaching them how to take a STAAR tests and not teaching them the material in a useful and involved manner.
@Joseph181525 @GinaHinojosaTX I wholeheartedly agree that kids shouldn’t be taking narcotics that they don’t need, but to sit here and try to paint this “epidemic” as a factual problem when we have REAL problems that don’t require speculation, maybe we should resolve those first
@Joseph181525 @GinaHinojosaTX Okay but every single kid has to take STAAR tests, not every single kid in Texas is being forced onto amphetamines and I bet it’s not even at as high of a rate as you would assume lol
@Joseph181525 @GinaHinojosaTX So you’re under the assumption that classes are too long and there isn’t enough free time, so in turn kids are talking out and getting more wound up and that’s causing them to get forced onto amphetamines or into a special education class?
@Joseph181525 @GinaHinojosaTX SAT and ACT training don’t happen during school hours or at least didn’t when I was in school, so any training for those tests is at least done on your own and not interrupting your normal learning.
@Joseph181525 @GinaHinojosaTX yes they are, schools are teaching kids how to take tests instead of strictly teaching them the course material because schools can’t afford to have bad testing grades. they don’t care if they actually LEARN the subject as long as they know just enough to test well
