This is on the Coates family.
From the verge of Europe to L1 relegation in the space of 7 years.
Consistently the worst recruitment in Britain, abysmal managerial appointments & incompetent clowns as chief exec/technical director, led by the biggest clown of all - John Coates
@JonnyPotter87 If he’s under pressure now (he 100% should be), and the hierarchy (as inept as they are) are thinking of pulling the trigger, it makes absolutely zero sense to give him 10 games or so to see what happens.
Giving Robins the transfer window under those circumstances is insane.
Tuchel picking Henderson, Dan Burn and Spence is laughable. Leaving TAA, Foden, Palmer, Wharton etc at home in the process.
This also coming after utter shite performances against Japan & Uruguay, and twice labouring past Andorra.
Round of 32 or 16 exit awaits 🥱
@caribbeanpotter@FootballLeagueW The higher ups are more of a problem than the manager and have been for several years, but Coates isn’t going anywhere and it doesn’t look like Walters will either. Either way, Robins isn’t good enough himself and keeping managers with poor records for the sake of it won’t help.

@JonnyPotter87 Creativity is a massive issue which doesn’t help them at all, but our strikers are still shite regardless. I genuinely wouldn’t keep a single one on the books.
@bayernoatcake2 Fully agree with the ‘it’s all bad luck’ comment, that’s what a majority of the fanbase are still holding on to rather than wanting Robins and Walters out. It’s far deeper than injuries.
Take no pleasure in it but we’ll see what happens come Sep/Oct time & we’re in the bottom 5.
@StokeTom_____ Is that 18 losses out of the last 32 games? That is shambolic 😂😂 can’t wait til we keep Robins, then sack him in September/October when we’re in the bottom 5 after giving him the full transfer window.
@TomH_1863 It’s because he did well at Cov and he’s more likeable than most ex-gaffers we’ve had. And benefitting from the ‘we can’t keep sacking managers’.
The fact is our run since January is relegation form and after 18 months, we still don’t have a clear style of play or any progress.
3 wins in the last 20, with 7 away defeats on the spin. Quite simply, unless Walters and Robins are sacked, we go down next season.
The overhaul required cannot be entrusted to a man who has taken us from 2nd to 17th. But yes I’m sure injuries are the only reason this happened👍
