“We have the money, the power, the medical understanding, the scientific know-how, the love and the community to produce a kind of human paradise. But we are led by the least among us – the least intelligent, the least noble, the least visionary."
--Terence McKenna
@PeterMcCormack@ZackPolanski The problem with striving for a free from government coercion society is it’s too damn hard for most people. Socialism is easy….until it isn’t. In my view, this is why a truly free society has never risen up while socialism rises and falls all the time.
@lmt_810 Schertz winning a conference championship and playing, entertaining TEAM basketball, for a local team, is magnifying what Mizzou doesn’t have and would like to have.
@Ben_Fred Schertz is such a better teacher of the game. Ball movement, player movement, can shoot it. Mizzou plays ugly. Just a bunch of dribbling and hoping they can break down a defender one on one. And they are pretty bad shooters. Mitchell was generally good around the basket.
@MU_CHRIS@MaggieLJohnson I’m 56 years old and have never seen a conference football title. I was 24 when Mizzou last won a hoops title. I’m noticing a trend and ceiling. Hoops might do it again before I croak but not until they hire a great teacher of the game.
