Israel Jebasingh is an Indian educator and a former IAS officer who served in West Bengal. He is currently the director of the Officers IAS Academy, Chennai.
10 years before Officers IAS Academy was started in a small house. Results grew and Academy grew. In 2018 we expanded to Bengaluru. This year starting a branch in Delhi. All are Welcome 🙏🙏🙏
Considering the above factors, in my view this year’s cut off is expected to be 80 plus or minus 2 marks for General Category. For other categories as usual it will be correspondingly lesser.

R.A.Israel Jebasingh,
Director,
Officers IAS Academy.
*Expected Cut Off for 2023 Preliminary Exam*
The nature of this year’s Civil Preliminary Exam General Studies Question Pattern was a bit unconventional. Questions from Modern India and Polity which are typically high and of a sure shot nature were very low this year.
While the question topics were mostly easy, the options were very tricky and difficult. The difficulty level of questions in CSAT paper is also higher when compared to last year. The vacancies when compared to last year is more.
Prelims 2021 Cut off?
This year paper slightly easy & vacancies also less. Some questions even though appeared easy, twists were there.Unexpected questions from sports areas.
Considering these factors, the cutoff for General category in my view is 96 plus or minus 2 marks.
