The Pathway Forward:

Today, I made phone calls to Pennsylvania unaffiliated voters. Here’s an example of one conversation:

Me: “Mrs. ____, my name is Scott & I’m doing a presidential straw poll. If the election were held today, who would you vote for?”

Voter: “All I can tell you is it’s not President Biden & that’s all I’m willing to say over the phone. Thank you.”

Me: “Before you go, just keep in mind that Pennsylvania is a closed primary state. So, you need to be registered to vote w/ a major party in order to vote in the primary. Have a nice weekend.”

There are more than 1.2 million Pennsylvania voters not affiliated w/ a major party. So, our goals moving into 2024 are 1) identifying which way these voters lean & 2) converting as many of them to Republican as possible.

Although I was unable to get the voter on the phone to change her party affiliation, I recorded the valuable data that this middle-aged woman doesn’t like Joe Biden & informed her on PA’s closed primary. This information will be helpful for the follow-up campaign, as these voters will be contacted multiple times.

You can make phone calls from the comfort of your homes — in all 50 states — to help convert unaffiliated Pennsylvania voters to Republican.
