C’est reparti pour un tour.

Après avoir coupé Fable et Mythos au reste du monde, Washington demande maintenant à OpenAI de réserver le futur modèle surpuissant GPT-5.6 à des partenaires approuvés par le gouvernement.

Nous assistons en temps réel à la mise en place d’un inquiétant apartheid numérique à l’échelle planétaire : les IA les plus puissantes pour une poignée de nations, et le reste du monde renvoyé au rang de tiers-monde technologique.

Le comble, c’est que l’Europe n'aura bientôt plus d'autre choix que de se tourner vers la Chine ou le Japon pour accéder aux IA les plus avancées. La Chine diffuse en effet des modèles ouverts comme GLM-5.2. Quant au Japon, il vient de lancer Fugu, un système qui affiche des performances comparables à Fable et Mythos.

La Chine et le Japon ont compris qu’en donnant accès à leurs technologies, ils diffusent aussi leurs standards, leurs outils, leur écosystème et surtout leur influence.

Et la France dans tout ça ? On sort des formules toutes faites sur la souveraineté technologique, on affirme que Trump est un méchant, mais on tue l’innovation par une avalanche de normes et de taxes. J’ai beaucoup de respect pour Mistral, qui accomplit presque un miracle dans un environnement aussi hostile. Mais ne nous racontons pas d’histoires : une entreprise seule, aussi brillante soit-elle, ne peut pas compenser l’absence d’une stratégie continentale, d’une profondeur de capital et d’une volonté politique à la hauteur. On ne joue pas dans la même cour quand les autres empilent les centaines de milliards pendant que nous empilons les règlements.

Ce que nos dirigeants n’ont toujours pas compris, c’est qu’aucun plan consacré uniquement à l’intelligence artificielle ne nous permettra de rattraper notre retard.

Car le problème n’est pas l’IA. Le problème, c’est notre modèle économique et social, avec un monstre technocratique devenu tentaculaire qui décourage l’initiative. Une fiscalité qui pénalise le risque. Une réglementation qui ralentit l’innovation. Une dette abyssale qui consomme les ressources de demain pour financer les dépenses d’hier.

Aucun champion européen de l’IA ne pourra prospérer durablement dans un écosystème qui décourage ceux qui créent, investissent et entreprennent.

La véritable révolution à mener n’est pas technologique. Elle est politique, économique et culturelle. Il nous faut une révolution copernicienne : nous réconcilier avec le risque, le capital, l’investissement et l’entrepreneuriat. Passer d’une société organisée autour de la protection à une société tournée vers la création.

C’est cela, le véritable enjeu de 2027.

And the hardest part isn't watching the act fall apart.
It's realizing how long you applauded it, defended it, and mistook obvious bullshit for substance.....
