If you read one thing about criminal justice reform today, let it be this.

Reforming a system characterized by violence, trauma, and harm is difficult. The solutions are not always sexy. But any improvement has to start with meaningful oversight. https://t.co/EW5FNHsiFQ

"Kennedy's rapid scheduled disassembly of the U.S. public health system is the existential threat to public health in AZ. These cuts are but the 1st salvo in what I expect to be a long & wide-ranging series of assaults on public health as we've known it." https://t.co/OQHWdSFqOq

Roads are pretty bad out there. I-40 is slow going between Country Club and I-17. Roads in town are snowy and slushy. Snowing pretty good on top of that. If you have to commute or travel today, plan for some extra time to get to where you are going. #Flagstaff

Skattebo: "I threw up. I drank to much water too fast and I was kind of feeling sloshy and then felt better after."

Dillingham: "Puke and rally."

8PM EDT: This is nothing short of astronomical. I am at a loss for words to meteorologically describe you the storms small eye and intensity. 897mb pressure with 180 MPH max sustained winds and gusts 200+ MPH. This is now the 4th strongest hurricane ever recorded by pressure on this side of the world. The eye is TINY at nearly 3.8 miles wide. This hurricane is nearing the mathematical limit of what Earth's atmosphere over this ocean water can produce.

We are so grateful for everyone who helped make this happen! The FSS staff are some of the bravest, hard-working and compassionate people around. We are so grateful for them and for everyone who helped make this staff meeting so special.

Big thank you to my editors and my friends on the print production team at @azcentral for giving so much space to our jail deaths investigation in today's paper! https://t.co/8xJ8eDmV1G
