Try to get down to 4-5% SoC, let it sit for an hour or so, then to 100% and let that sit for an hour or three until the KM range doesn’t increase. Repeat for 2-3 days in succession.
It’ll either fix it, stay the same, or fuck it to a point that you’ll get warranty on the pack, so no harm no foul.
@MrGreentoucan When did you last run a battery test or do a very low SoC to 100% run? Maybe it’s time to force the BMS to balance the pack or mark it as failing?
@LhommeDesole@TechOperator What’s wrong with buttons? Are you one of those irrational buttonphobic folks who will only use knobs and switches? Crazy! Who doesn’t like buttons…sheesh.
😂
@MrGreentoucan And here we thought just FSD 14 lite on its own was making the HW3 overheat… this would probably cause it to melt down and catch fire! 😂
It’s been approximately 2-3% more battery consumption over the 120km trip into Calgary from the house, so only really noticeable if you’re paying attention.
I’ll try to work out the actual numbers in a few days, but it’s feeling like roughly the difference between having the roof bars on or off.
I tossed a carbon fiber spoiler on last week to help visually define the edge of the boot lid….
Just in case you needed some more visual motivation. ;)
As an aside, fair and square the efficiency is down slightly, but I haven’t done the math yet to tell you by how much exactly.
I’m very impressed with the “temporary” winters we used on the Y this year. Imperial snow dragon. Was just a hair over 200$ a tire installed, for the stock Y 19” tire size. Looks like 60-70% tread left now over 15k km. And that’s with running in summer 30-35c weather still over the last month. No difference in handling or winter performance from the x-ice tires on my 3. I will get another set for sure. Chinese tires aren’t as bad in my experience as everyone makes them out to be.
@LhommeDesole Thanks for the reminder to do that, I’ll set that up and track that.
18” tires are so cheap compared to 19’s. Although, the Falkens run over 300$ a tire…so not that cheap. 😆
