@Tabatamitsuru I picked this up in Yokohama in 2025. The Japanese pressing of the “Maiden Japan” live ep. A play on words tribute to Deep Purple’s “Made in Japan” but it was called “Heavy Metal Army, Maiden Japan Live!!” in Japan.

The best version of Killers, Di’Anno is extra nasty sounding.

@karoryfer I went & sampled one of my secret weapons. The Galanti/Hondo longhorn with miswired neck pickup for broken AM radio tones. The masking tape on the pickup serves a purpose but that was 25 yrs ago & I have zero clue now.

@noriinoriidesu Sonic was like WCW; it made sense in its time & was a legit contender, but then it couldn’t adapt to the changes. Fun to go back to, but I grew up w/ 80s Atari, I know when nostalgia/experiencing in real time is carrying something. Sonic is a loud 90s time capsule.

The awkwardness of youth. Simpler but scarier. Your mind & heart are often lost. How transformative music can be. Connecting you to everyone & for a few mins everything makes sense. A young mind can say the unsayable.
