@empyrealviolet Yeah I don’t get how it could be, I found myself actually struggling to stay on task getting from one checkpoint to the next cause it’s so easy to get distracted and go off the beaten path and I never find myself getting to the next checkpoint through conventional means.

@empyrealviolet Never once did I feel the level design was hindered by having a grace right near the end dungeon boss, I was still compelled to completely explore the level and fight every enemy

@empyrealviolet Not to mention when I find myself absolutely sprinting through the whole level ignoring everything get back to the boss there’s always a thought in the back of my mind this is not what fromsoft envisioned and is probably why they removed a lot of run backs as well
