You highlight the XBL as somewhat of an achievement on your website - can we get the crossing time for it similar to regular cars so we can see how much longer it is for commuters who "have made the commuting choice that *reduces the number of cars on our roads*...?"
@PANYNJ
Another day, another 2+ hour commute. I'm basically a remote worker now since I have to work from a bus for half of my work day. FYI I live 9 miles from PABT and would ride a bike there if I could.
@NJTRANSIT
@King_INF3RN0@JamesMcPherson@MKBHD Sure, but launch thrusters and fan systems won't be street legal. They'll probably be produced and sold - but on track-only vehicles. The speed at which the fan system actually matters is much higher than any speed limit in America.
@NJTRANSIT@GovSherrillNJ@PANYNJ something really has to be done about the NYC commute. I've been commuting for over 15 years and it has never been this bad. 2+ hours to go from Wood-Ridge to PABT - every single day. The bus lane is at a standstill, other traffic seems to move.
@Colleenallreds@NJTRANSIT If I worked for an entiry that was universally hated - and gave zero fucks - I wouldn't have much motivation to go into work either.
@JamesMcPherson@MKBHD Proof-of-concepts and prototypes are easy. This was a science project. A cool one, but a science project. This will not go into production, just like the last one. It's a hype train, again, for all of the gullible people who eat it up.
@MKBHD The McMurtry-esque fan suction just needs a good 'ol New England pothole to give this thing an asphalt enema. Will that be covered under warranty?
@NJTRANSIT So you're saying you have no QA on your app? Seems like hundreds of thousands of people just needed to entirely delete and reinstall their app.
@NJTRANSIT the App isn't populating buses anymore. I've had the same three buses on my screen since Monday. Going into the map view, it obviously doesn't work either, but there are actual bus times there. Still inaccurate.
There is no reason for my 10 mile commute from Wood-Ridge NJ to The Port Authority to take at least 1.5 hours each day at a bare minimum. Worse than ever, every day.
@NJTRANSIT
Two hour commute into the city every morning, from Wood-Ridge, NJ. Used to take 45 mins to an hour. Bus lane at a standstill each day while cars fly by. Why is it so bad? @NJGov@PANYNJ@NJTRANSIT
@NJTRANSIT You should interview him on an NJTransit bus in the morning. After an hour on the helix in the bus lane while regular traffic moves, you'd run out of things to talk about.
