In response to the original question, the news, media channels, and pop culture often highlight negative aspects. We need more exposure to positive alternatives that people can replicate. Creating the network economy of positive ideas allows individuals to adopt without having to start from scratch. #itsoTUC
I think you are missing the point - it is not about ownership to create exclusivity it is about ownership to enable participation - it is the difference between being the product and owning the product. As such the purpose of this entire movement is to enable the “network effects” to become “network economies”. This can only be achieved by building primitives that enable the network participants to run all the architecture necessary to deliver the service in such a way that it can compete with the existing technocracy, it must be cheaper, faster, better (more secure). The central question is…what is better than free? And there is only one answer… which is…getting paid! How do you do that? Have a look at the Verus protocol which was built as an Internet protocol leveraging all the primitives necessary for the paradigm shift you seem to be missing…@VerusCommunity
NVIDIA founder Jensen Huang: “Money is the only singular reason not to start a company“
“I hope that if I leave you with anything, money is the only singular reason not to start a company. Because starting a company has a very low probability of success. And so if that is your reason for doing it, you will likely regret the experience… You should build a company because you believe in your idea, you’re passionate about it, and you want to build something great… You have to have a perspective that’s unique and that you feel really strongly about, so you’re willing to persevere almost any challenge to make it happen.”

Post Moore era?
“the compute required to achieve a given level of language modeling performance has been halving approximately every 8 months”.
As this is impressive there might still be a some flaw in the very concept/principle of LLM, which results in a “limiting factor”, kind of barrier to progress.
