The boys cross country team finished third at today's state meet. Marcus Bowley led the Generals with an All-State performance in 10th place. Hayden Clem was the only lady General competing today. I will post full results when I get them.

[Jeffrey Burner @JeffreyBurner]

@coach_dotson I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. I fell last week. I told the players, I knew what they could get me for Christmas... Life Alert.

[Jeffrey Burner @JeffreyBurner]

@TJEck_TV So glad you're here to share your story.

[Jeffrey Burner @JeffreyBurner]

@EdKrassen For me the biggest issue has been the billions of dollars in resources that have gone into standardized testing and the resources that go with testing. Yet another way politicians have diverted money away from schools and into "educational" companies hands

[Jeffrey Burner @JeffreyBurner]

@troylindsey @mommaross6 @EdKrassen So now you're down to about 240 days. Well over half. I assure you my salary is not half. If teaching is the sweet gig you describe, I'm really surprised people aren't rushing to the profession.

[Jeffrey Burner @JeffreyBurner]

@troylindsey @mommaross6 @EdKrassen I love your math. I am a teacher and I am contracted for 200 days over 10 months. Most American jobs work 5 days a week not 7 (without overtime) So you're down to 261 days. Jobs with the same educational level typically have 2 weeks paid vacation along with holidays.

[Jeffrey Burner @JeffreyBurner]

@koontzey But it's more fun saying "meeses!" 😂
