@sully7777 The average household income in Arkansas is $68,000. This roster, at 105 players earning $25M is an average of $238,000… The fans can, and should, boo anyone they want.
@JohnNaborsShow My wife (an SMU grad) and I donate to both SMU and Arkansas equally and we also have season tickets to both teams. Literally everything about the experience, hospitality, and alumni/donor relationship is better from SMU. Truly every bit of it.
@jordantcarlisle The underlying assumption is that player NIL will generate ROI. The moment we’re in feels less about NIL and ROI and more about pay-to-win. My uneducated sense is time will show that true NIL values are fairly low and return little ROI, except for a few transcendent exceptions.
@ArkansasEdgeNIL @RazorbackFB@RazorbackMBB@ArkRazorbacks@RazorbackBSB @PoweredByBPS @ArkansasEdgeNIL I’m trying to sign up for the $25/mo level but it automatically takes me to the checkout page for the $250 annual subscription. I assume you’d rather have my $300 rather than $250? Might be worth a fix during your drive for new subs.
@MultifamilyMark Public market RE trading at a discount to the private markets, spread to corporate bond alternatives tighter than long term average, flat/declining operating margins… generally signals for lower values. Lower rates a crosswind. Hard to know which force prevails and by how much.
@HunterYurachek Great start! Consider lower membership levels, too. $50/mo is more than 1% of Arkansas's median household income. Might find interest with $5, $10, $20 levels even w/o a metal card or bumper sticker. I'd pass up fancy coffee to help the hogs! @ArkansasEdgeNIL @HunterYurachek
@merica_man84 It’s fill in the blank my friend. Rather than clicking the radio button, just add in whatever you’re comfortable with in the box. $1, $5, $25… I’m sure it all helps! They could (should) do a better job talking about how to get involved.
@moseskagan Lots of ways to serve your country, not all in uniform. It’s important to honor those who do, it also takes service from many at all levels of society and government to sustain our democracy. Being a pragmatic voice and good steward of principle is service in its own way.
@codylittlewood That’s exactly it. Functionally no different than funding large debt reserves at acquisition or paying points on the note. Contributing upfront to offset future outflows. Some VA groups do so to inflate cash yields during their hold. For right or wrong…
@MikeIrwinPTN Pittman noted his caution with the portal at recent press conferences, wants 20/25 from HS/yr. 1/1 from portal. Cites impact on player morale, but we see success from programs who go heavy into the portal like Coach Muss. Is it time to reconsider? Also see OU & CO vs last year.
@MultifamilyMark I like floater with a close cap. You’re effectively fixing the rate by paying the interest upfront, but you’ll get the benefit of falling rates when / if they happen. Fixed will lock you in, no benefit if they fall, and leave you less exit flexibility w a rate 100+bps over market
(1/17) I recently shared some of my thoughts on investing in real estate during an inflationary period. What are your key considerations?
Here are mine: https://t.co/U4efHpcqNu
(16/17) This leads us to like multifamily, although there are certainly arguments for others.
Short leases, pop. growth, wage growth, lack of sufficient middle-income housing, and migration patterns... we think this leads to higher occupancies and higher rents.
