@idintlosetonite In general, some people would hate on the movie /simply/ because of a gender swap. (For the record I don’t think they should do it). So even if the movie genuinely turns out to be good, there is still a population of people that wouldn’t give it chance or still say it’s bad
@idintlosetonite Marvel needs X-men to be an undeniable hit, if this were to happen, the movie’s reputation would be tainted by controversial hate - hoping this is just someone throwing a baseless rumor at the wall
Did anyone see Season 2 and would recommend I watch it? 🤔
I didn’t dislike season 1 as much as twitter as a whole did, but I haven’t had the urge to see the second season.
Tom Holland says he "hated" an early cut of SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY:
"They took all of the notes from [test screenings], and then they changed the movie... It totally didn't work. It was what the people were asking for, but it wasn't quite what we wanted as the creatives."

Imagine announcing you’re going fully digital and while the world still hates you for it, your platform goes down for hours… rendering all digital games useless 😭
i'm 100% serious when i say all promo should be similar to this. i don't care if cast members know each other's birthdays. tell me about the technical elements of filming
Growing up hearing “Wikipedia isn't a valid source” and then entering a workplace where people say “just ask ChatGPT” is a surprisingly strange timeline
Reminds me of my psych class in HS when if a majority chose X option we would be rewarded as a whole but if enough people chose Y option instead (greed and selfish option) then no one gets anything. And almost every time people kept choosing Y.
Thrifting books means you are paying for a physical copy of a book that had already been purchased, so the author already got paid for that physical copy regardless. Same deal with borrowing except this time you’re not paying for the book because you’re returning it.
this whole anti piracy thing makes me really curious on what everyone’s opinion is on thrifting books and borrowing them because if, in your own words, piracy means the author doesn’t get paid for their work, the same principle applies to thrift shops and libraries 🤨🤨
I say this with the absolute love & care for fandom, but I'm genuinely shocked at how this recent debacle has revealed just how tech illiterate a huge portion of fandom actually is.
