The Mayor was elected by mpls voters who voted in 2017. The average age and demographic: 58 years old, white. My ward (9) did not vote for him. Crippling the councils ability to pass a legislative agenda takes away our voice. And makes passing policy for renters harder.

Yesterday, someone commented to me that the Minneapolis City Government is in ineffective and slow, more so than other municipalities. I agree, but a strong major charter amendment won’t fix the problem. @IX_Unidxs has worked for years on policy, and I’ve noticed a few things.
