@AJLINatasha Our EVP presented it last night. It just looked like our placement guide restructured. I still believe a member could have several different roles within the year. A member could be on an event planning committee for one event, one aspect of social media for the entire year...
Q3: I think it begins with asking the member what they want to do. Based on recent conversations I can see that members aren't 'placed' on one committee but are on several committees that have specific duration focuses that may not span the entire league year. #JLChat
A7: We have Enrichments in October and January that are light-hearted learning socials (half activity - half social) - there are many of them so the member can choose which to attend #JLChat
A4: We weave our signature project (food deserts) into GMMs by having speakers that are related to the topic. At our next GMM, we're having our Senator come and speak about legislation where we have been an impact and can be an impact! #JLChat
A5: We have DIADs that are specific to our signature project (food deserts) with other organizations. Our members have many options to be an impact within the community through these opportunities #JLChat
@andie_lance That's a great idea. What was the highlight of the 1st year and 2nd year actives' thoughts and feelings? How many 1st & 2nd years attended #JLChat
Joint Council is where all committee chairs and VP councils meet for training and cross-coordination between committees and councils. It's supplemental training outside of GMMs and Board Meetings #JLChat https://t.co/euRUX1YWK0
A1 part 3 - We also have an open door policy for all members to come and sit with leaders at Joint Council, where we often focus on new leader skill development each evening #JLChat
@JuniorLeague A1: We're also planning on integrating more Training opportunities at our Joint Council meetings. Currently, they are more informative about league operations & opportunities than about member development.
@JuniorLeague A3: We have conversations with our members- what they are looking to get out of the league. As we are currently structured, some members are "double placed" - I'm hoping we integrate the one-on-one behavioral interviews soon, as a first step of intentional placement.
@cwestguillet This is what Joint Council is (different than GMM) we have Joint Council every month - 2nd Tuesday of the month (for 10 months of the year). #JLChat https://t.co/IM7djXGu0a

A2: We also have March Speak-Ups. Instead of a general GMM we have a several small group 'meetings' at members' homes where members can provide feedback and commentary. #JLChat
A2: We have 'unofficial' one-on-one conversations or small group with our members. Listing to the needs of New Members and what they're interested in helps to know what they want to get out of the league. #JLChat
A1: JL Jacksonville allows for hands on learning experience by placing every member on a committee - you learn by doing, our committees are related to our mission related to volunteerism #JLChat https://t.co/RpbS9NhBLk
Q1. How does your League deliver on the Junior League promise: offering members experiential learning opportunities to build their civic leadership skills? #JLChat
