@Rinaamy9393 This article provides the most comprehensive overview of the recent incident at PUBG All-Star 2026, available in English, Chinese, and Thai. We hope our international friends will stand as allies with Vietnam."

A very very last post. As someone who has studied communications, risk management, and crisis management, I think this case is a huge one for many game companies and other organizations to learn from.
After this incident, gaming organizations and sponsors should be more cautious about PUBG and Krafton. It’s not necessarily about who was right or wrong, but about risk management. When you make a major investment in a game whose developer handles organization, operations, and crisis management so poorly that a relatively simple incident escalates into an industry-wide controversy within just three days, that becomes a bad investment from a risk-management perspective.
You only need to compare games developed/published in the US and those developed/published in Korea to see how different their capabilities and approaches can be when it comes to building a sense of fairness and competitive integrity, at least.

Representing a content creator from VIETNAM, EsportsT feels it has a responsibility to share a realistic perspective on the PUBG drama in Vietnam so that international audiences, players, and teams can understand what happened. This may be a one-sided perspective, so if you are Korean or don't care about the situation, please feel free to scroll past. If you'd like to follow along, head down to the comments!
Hm, I didn’t think a Korean news outlet could twist and selectively present the details this badly.
1. They only took screenshots of and reposted the malicious comments from vn fans, but anyone who has been following this situation knows that Kor fans were the ones who started the hate train against the two vn players, attacking and insulting vn women, the country, and even history. (And who was the one leading it? I’ll say her name outright: Soopi. Who exactly is she pretending to be innocent for?)
2. Streamer Rambo AND THE ENTIRE VN TEAM asked the tournament organizers MANY TIMES whether stream sniping was allowed - AND THE ORGANIZERS REPEATEDLY ANSWERED THAT IT WAS “ALLOWED.”
==> The rules clearly did not prohibit it, and they asked the organizers directly and got permission, so what exactly are they being accused of? Isn’t this whole situation happening because someone was simply bitter about it?
3. The two players have also withdrawn from the tournament. I want to emphasize that they did so because they didn’t want to make the situation any bigger. Neither of them did anything wrong. At this point, only someone being “childish” would keep dragging this out and attacking them over it.
4. Not to mention that Soopi also lied, saying there was “only one streaming monitor.” That argument was already flawed as a defense against stream sniping, and now the community is getting evidence to prove otherwise. So who exactly is throwing a tantrum, crying and playing the victim here?
Or, more accurately, this was a tournament where teams from other countries were having a great time, while one particular team was “tryharding” but still lost and finished in 6th place. And guess what? They got bitter and ended up targeting two incredibly talented Vietnamese players. (Don’t tell me there wasn’t some bad blood from the past involved here.)
If you agree, you agree; if you disagree, I’m willing to listen. But if all you can do is leave insulting comments under my post, all it proves is that you’re being ridiculous as hell and arguing in bad faith.
Before writing a one-sided narrative, don’t forget that Korean users were already insulting and attacking Vietnamese people first. You can’t conveniently erase that part of the story and then portray yourselves as the only victims.
@Rinaamy9393 Exactly. I get why you’re upset, but it doesn’t justify turning this into a personal attack on him. It’s just a showmatch, and exposing him to thousands of attacks is crossing the line. Context matters, and so does taking responsibility
