Everyone is excited about AI agents moving money.
Almost nobody has built the part where you can prove who authorized what when something goes wrong.
@MetaCompHQ just shipped Know Your Agent, a framework that identifies, authorizes, and monitors AI agents the same way KYC does for humans.
It's not theoretical either, it's already tied into a compliance engine that's cutting false positive rates on high risk transactions from 25 percent to near zero.
Regulated finance is quietly solving the problem everyone else is still hyping.
I think there’s a lot of truth to this.
Web3 rarely runs out of opportunities.
It just changes what it values.
A lot of people are still building skills for the last cycle while the market has already moved on.
That’s why it feels like there are no opportunities,
You are probably jobless in Web3 because you misunderstood how the market creates opportunities.
One pattern I’ve observed from studying the Web3 job market is this:
Market regimes determine which skills get rewarded.
When protocols dominated, Engineers, KOLs, Analysts, Community Managers/Moderators and content/Video Ambassadors were in demand.
Then Kaito created an economy around creators, KOLs and attention.
Today, memecoins dominate attention.
The opportunities didn’t disappear.
They shifted toward traders, bot developers, trench KOLs, launch infrastructure and analytics.
Most people are still positioning themselves for yesterday’s market.
This is one of my Philosophy Analyses.
My hypothesis is : Why are so many people unemployed in Web3 despite high market activity, and could the answer be that attention has shifted to a new market regime whose opportunities reward a different set of skills?
