A Thai father, frustrated by his son’s dependence on the iPad and other electronic devices, decided to use a creative tactic to break the habit.
While his son was sleeping, he applied makeup around the boy’s eye to make it look injured. When his son woke up, the father showed him the iPad and said, “This happened because of that,” hoping to discourage his excessive screen time.
The emotional absent parent can be at events, provide food and shelter, but they never truly connects with their child. They don’t actually appreciate and learn who their child is as a human. This is our first experience of heartbreak, and leaves a hole we spend a lifetime trying to fill.
