@Andy Sutton, my heart broke for you with Kyle and Garcelle in Augusta. Your mom has narcissist tendencies and enjoys poking you with her disapproval. You love your mom, but did you want to scream at your clueless friends for saying how great she is and how lucky you are to have her?
Why do you think “What is a Woman?” is a film but “What is a Man?” isn't?
Why are women fearing for their safety as males gain access to their female-spaces but men are not fearing for their safety as females gain access to their male-spaces?
Why do so many people hate women?
I will never understand how a male celebrity can post a photo like this, announcing that they’ve paid to buy a child and hire a woman’s body, and not only does it in no way affect his career but he’ll be publicly celebrated. Yet if you say a man’s not a woman your career is gone.
Honest question for Trump devotees: Is there something, anything, Trump could do - anything at all, that would cost him your support? Is his congratulating a brutal mass murdering dictator for getting a seat on the executive board of the WHO too far or no?
The attacks on my character from the radical Left have been offensive, dangerous, and disgusting.
How can you tell young Black kids that there's no chance to make it to the top unless you're the exception?
In America, you can go as high as your character, your talent, and your grit will take you.
I got this one, Coach! The minute y’all decided to take the Christian covenant of marriage and slap it on same-sex-unions, magically turn men into women with no objective standard, go on to let boys crush girls in female sports, allow men into our women’s restrooms, hand out girls’ prized scholarships, jobs and state championships to boys wearing girlface, started slicing and dicing our kids because you’d preached a diabolical lie to them in school that “boys can be girls”, and then you began tearing apart the language that set the standard for what a woman is - we are no longer “women” but “birthing people” “birthers ” “chest feeders” - then… THEN.. after all this, we saw the “it’s not your damn business” crusade for what it was and is: an attempt to use words that are make-believe and/or duplicitous like “gender identity” and “affirmative care” and “inclusion” to tear apart the fabric of America’s core. Only then could a young once-Christian nation be remade into a chaotic realm of confusion; one where there is no objective Truth, no family unit, no male, no female, no child, no parent, no God, no right, no wrong, no holy, no depraved. A brave new world built on meaningless tropes that once reflected sacred covenants, a meaningless reworked language that doesn’t restrain or give life to anything real and, ultimately, the crusade’s end goal: to make what was made in the image of God into the unrestrained imagination of debased chaos.
That’s why it’s all our “damn business”.
Yes, I said it.
If you’re a young person, you should be outside, at the office, at cafes, in parks, at coworking spaces, gyms, clubs, bars, friends’ living rooms, making connections, risking awkwardness & rejection, forming friendships & work relationships and finding love IRL.
@JackSpitz5@megbasham@Target I’m sure they’d make “Birthing Person Month” a thing if we forfeited the term “mother”. They can have the month where they hold the country hostage to their absurdity, and I’ll keep the day that isn’t rooted in pride, but in honor.
Couldn't be prouder that @bariweiss 's enterprise, formally Common Sense, is now The Free Press (@thefp), a new name to cover its more vast influence. Those who hunger for truth over tribalism are still a minority, but we're growing! Congrats to Bari and Nellie! I'll be reading!
Holtom: "Most people have a test positive only because we test every human being who is admitted to the hospital. There is no medical reason that one would have gotten a COVID test on the vast majority of these people...
My son came out as trans. We said no you’re not, but if you really are, you can make permanent changes when you are an adult. He said, ‘well maybe I’m not’ for a year, and then he said he’s not, and now he says kids shouldn’t have access to the internet. GenZ might be alright.
When you justify abortion by saying “those kids would be poor or abused anyway,” you’re telling me and tens of millions like me that we’d be better off dead. A person’s circumstances do not dictate their value or potential.
Lots of people were fine with "safe, legal and rare" even as they hated abortion. But once "shout your abortion" and "abortion pride" became normalized, lots of those reasonable people became virulently pro-life at all costs.
