TELL ME WHERE I’M WRONG!
For years, “education reform” forces (aka school privatizers) demanded “accountability” testing, which (public education advocates argued) required educators to “teach to the test” at the expense of real learning.
Those privatization forces then used those tests to argue that public schools were failing!
Now in Tennessee, based on the claim that public schools are failing, those same forces want taxpayer-funded vouchers to go to private schools with NO accountability testing.
In fact, those private schools often try to lure families by boasting that they don’t have to “teach to the test.”
It almost seems like it was part of the plan!
