The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an unidentified adult female.
On Jan. 25, 2026, the decedent died at Sutter Medical Center due to natural causes. A few days earlier, during her admission, she expressed that she was unable to provide her name. She has a specific medical condition that would be familiar to her family and friends, she stated she has an allergy to blueberries, and she wore eyeglasses because of vision impairment.
My wife stopped asking me to help with Christmas.
I didn't notice.
"Don't stress," I'd tell her. "It'll all come together."
She'd nod. Keep moving.
One night I found her at the kitchen table.
2 AM.
Wrapping gifts I didn't know we had.
For people I forgot existed.
"When did you buy all this?"
She didn't look up.
"It doesn't just come together."
That's when it hit me.
I was the one saying don't stress.
She was the one making Christmas happen.
I wasn't helping.
I was watching.
Your wife isn't stressed about Christmas.
She IS Christmas.
And you're just showing up.
Can we maybe just swap the entire Sac roster with the Stockton roster for a few games? Maybe we will finally get to see some energy and guys who want to play 🤷🏼♀️😔 #Sacramento#Kings#Stockton
@KingsCake__1 My son is a student at Sac State also and a couple weeks ago he text me and said- JUST WALKED OUT OF CLASS AND MIKE BIBBY WAS WALKING BY...LOL. Super cool for you guys!
@WatchMarquee And this is why the Dodgers are ahead of the Cubs in rankings. I despise the Dodgers but when this kind disaster happens-complete meltdown by bullpen AND no clutch hitting in the bottom of that 10th- but until this gets fixed, they will stay ahead. Get em tomorrow Cubs.
