As our week teaching @SOLIDWORKS in Rwanda draws to a close, I thought I’d share a short video of what a day here is like. Thanks to @JennOster and Rebekah for their instruction help. Thanks to @Rwanda_Edu , and @KigaliMarriott for the hospitality! https://t.co/smvPEOfsLl
We’re finishing off the final day of @SOLIDWORKS training at the @fablabrw who is celebrating their 3rd anniversary today! Also, if you look closely, there’s a little bit of #xDesign being taught on an @Apple MacBook Air in the middle of Africa!
It’s the final day of @SOLIDWORKS training in Rwanda. Today we split the day between two locations. The first part of the day took us to the University of Rwanda in Kigali. The second half of the day will take us to the FabLab to celebrate its 3 year anniversary!
Rwanda is called the land of 1,000 hills. Today the @SOLIDWORKS training team travelled to one of the highest hills at over 7,000 feet to IPRC Tumba in the Northern Province.
We’re holding a design competition at TSS Nyanza in the @NyanzaDistrict in Rwanda today. 7 student teams are presenting different design ideas created in @SOLIDWORKS that will help the people of Rwanda, and can be #MadeInRwanda
Frequency, thermal, and static simulation? All in a days work here at @IPRCKigali as the students close out the day of @SOLIDWORKS training in Rwanda. And yes, they love the t-shirts and USB Thumb Drive gifts!
The @3dwox_sindoh that was donated to @IPRCKigali a few years ago is still running well and making parts! The students love having access to #3Dprinting here in #Rwanda
Our annual charitable trip to #Rwanda to teach @SOLIDWORKS to secondary school students is underway. We begin each year with a hike over Mt Kigali to acclimate to the time change and elevation. @Jolly_Rancher candies were a big hit with the kids in the villages along the trail!
