@Vanessid Respectfully, I can no longer give you the benefit of the doubt. You're using a disaster for your own agenda. Just talk you the things you care about! Don't capitalize on attention being paid to a disaster. You're not operating in good faith and you know it.
@Vanessid@simonbalac So are you proposing that we close the harbor?
I'm just so confused about your motivations here. It's feeling like you're taking advantage of a major disaster to push your agenda (an agenda that I'm not disagreeing with). It feels callous at best.
@Vanessid Respectfully, you are wrong. By all indicators, this was a catastrophic accident, not a failure of infrastructure. Whatever happened to the power on that boat (causing loss of steering) is what is at fault. No bridge could withstand a collision of over 100,000 tons.
Hi! Bridge Engineer here, no bridge in the world is designed to have a giant cargo ship the size of the bridge itself hit one of its main structural members dead on. Hope this helps!
I just signed a petition to support federal recognition for @chinook_nation. Will you take a moment to show your support for #ChinookJustice? https://t.co/ity9ssjAf2
No one in Congress should vote to send $10 billion in military aid to Netanyahu’s war machine when they are responsible for an unprecedented humanitarian disaster.
🏳️⚧️ Trans Day of Remembrance is a day to honor all those whose lives were lost to anti-transgender violence this year. We honor the lives of those we have lost by continuing the fight for trans rights and liberation. #TDOR
