NEW: Heroic dog, police officer and a firefighter save a 65-year old man who fell through the ice on a lake in Michigan.

Heroes!

The dog, Ruby, helped save her owner by delivering him rescue equipment.

Ruby ran over a rescue disk which allowed the owner to be pulled out of the water and pulled to a safer location so Michigan State Police Officer Kammeron Bennetts and the firefighter could pull him to safety.

Ruby's owner was sent to the hospital and later released.
