DSA in action?
I suspect this may be a case of what critics feared would be the caution-first effect of the DSA. I would be interested to know what the experts think?
Here are the facts:
- Posted something in Belgium in which I named an EU official and his (public) sale of his used underwear/socks, as well as his very public horny posting
- X claims my post violates X's rules, not Belgium's
- However, the post is only blocked in Belgium
- If it broke X's rules, it would be blocked everywhere
- So it is being blocked in Belgium only because the mods are worried that it might be found to be illegal in Belgium in court?
- It's not clear that it would be found to be illegal in local court (Grok says it's unlikely, though the guy in question might sue me for damages - but he would never do that because it would draw attention to what he's up to a la Streisand)

There's a severe professionalism crisis in the European Commission these days, and across the institutions more generally.
You shouldn't be airing your fetishes on an account representing the Commission. Simple as.
Same goes for politics, though this is a long broken taboo.
I say this as a leftie, the left has a serious serious problem with this whole “VAWG is bad… unless the women and girls in question said something I don’t like, then crack on” attitude. It isn’t even niche, it’s overwhelming.
@maevasyasmine@duncanm@serialsockthief No it isn't. People who claim to be left wing while supporting fashionable causes that are very definitely not left wing aren't actually left wing in any objective sense. Men are still men however they behave.
We are one of the groups that was invited to speak at this event.
Feile an Phobail's comments are a punch in the guts to the 20,000+ women and girls in the north of Ireland who play Gaelic football and camogie.
Wanting female players to have fairness, safety, privacy and dignity in their sport is not anti-rights.
Asking our governing bodies to ensure that all males, no matter how they identify, compete in the correct sex category so that female players can have fair and safe sport is not anti-rights.
We note with deepening concern the level of abuse directed at women by those who pushed for this event to be cancelled. These are ordinary women, living in the very same communities as those seeking to strip them of their right to speak.
This is not right.
Sexual assaults in hospitals are at alarming fugures! Women, disabled and elderly especially, are vulnerable and at risk. The NHS must do more. ⬇️

I totally agree with the article and your sentiment on it. I cannot believe so many gullible people have fallen for this nonsense. There is no right or wrong way to be a boy or girl. Let children be themselves. Stereotypes are not a template to run your life or indeed the law.
A very disturbing conversation that you can read here or listen to Paddy's podcast. Women of Ireland beware! This is what we are facing in our spaces that were once meant to keep us safe.
Chemsex is quietly devastating Ireland’s gay and bisexual community.
Time and time again, we hear from young men who have sex with men - often isolated, unsupported, and struggling - who find themselves pulled into a cycle of drug use and sexual trauma.
Our latest blog explores this hidden crisis and the urgent need for a coordinated response.

"News" paper calls him she, her, "Belfast Woman".
Insult to victims of male sexual assault. This will be recorded in NI crime statistics as a female crime.

Scrolling for stuff to watch @AppleTV I try ‘Loot’. So far every white character is a loser and a mixed race billionaire is told to improve her behaviour by the black trans CEO who runs her foundation. We’ll look back on today’s TV in wonder at the drugs execs must have been on.
