@sidneyemt@NZcivildefence I'm not confusing anything. My point is they are treating regular weather events as if it were a real emergency like an imminent tsunami. A swell is not an emergency. This constant crying-wolf is ridiculous and ultimately counterproductive to saving lives when it really matters.
@NZNationalParty I'd be quite happy to see the whole country turned into a giant pine forest.
Certainly not happy with millions of tonnes of weedkiller being sprayed everywhere.
Better to spend our money on boosting timber industries: new sawmills .etc.
@chrisluxonmp What a load nonsense. Sounds like you are being brainwashed by the leftists.
It would be better if you stayed out of affairs that don't concern New Zealand. This is an election year and statements like this don't win any votes.
Judea and Samaria is historically Jewish.
@jenniferarcuri So it harder for jurors to check up on a defendants past offending. If someone is on trial, only the current alleged offence should be considered. Otherwise jurors may decide, 'well they did this sort of thing before so the must be guilty this time despite lack evidence'.
I just filled out an X survey @Surveys .
It asked me to select all that apply, but the widget only allowed me to select one.
Then it started to ask about something called 'Paradise' .. the option available to say 'I have no idea what you are talking about'.
@manfromgore@NZNationalParty If you build a poorly insulated and leaky family flat in your own back yard that should be nobody else's problem but your own. The property owner should take full responsibility, not the council.
@Keir_Starmer No returns would be necessary if you secure the border!
You just seem to be supporting one crap policy with another crap policy. Take a step back, look at the whole issue and address the underlying cause: ECHR and weak borders.
@Telegraph UK police are required to investigate alleged crimes it is t heir statutory duty. If there is sufficient evidence that an offence defined by legislation has been committed, they are expected to take appropriate action.
