@miguelmigrant Today was the first day with students in a classroom. The first classroom I’m able to call my own. Sped teacher, 9th & 10th grades; focusing on executive functioning skills, accountability & study skills. Grateful for any assistance. 🙏🏼

The partially eclipsed sun melts into the Mediterranean Sea.
I can’t get over this experience.
I captured thousands of photos- I’ll be sharing my favorite later tonight.
Amen. Let’s fall in love with uniting instead of dividing & begin being fierce about dismissing all the negative noise. In life. In society. Period.
Sophie & Caitlin on White's pregame statement, locker room vibes:
S: "Our locker room in there is tight and we have each others backs. Steph's great with all of us. It's really the outside noise that's trying to distract us, but we're good"
C: "We're human and she has feelings. I've been through the same thing. I feel like we need to do a better job at uplifting each other. "
Thank you everybody. The support has been really amazing. If you're in a bad situation, just remember you don't have to work in a toxic environment. Life is too short to deal with a-holes. Do what's best for you and your family, nobody else will.
Would someone explain to me how an ins co can deny coverage for admission & hospitalization hospital AFTER the pt was admitted due to high WBC, fever & multiple in-person M.D.s making the determination.
Denied based on ins company’s MD disagreeing with attending physicians.
AS WE HEAD BACK TO SCHOOL… PLEASE REMEMBER THIS.
Not every student had a summer of trips, camps, enriching experiences, rest, or new things.
Some lost their home, faced food insecurity, or carried loss, stress, fear, or uncertainty.
Some are returning after feeling scared or unsafe at home, in their communities, or even in environments that were supposed to be supportive.
And it’s not just students.
Staff and teachers may be returning after working extra jobs to put food on the table, caring for ailing family members, grieving losses, or simply trying to stay afloat.
Some are energized. Some are exhausted. Some are both. Some are also carrying their own feelings of fear, stress, or instability.
So this year, lead with grace.
Instead of “Where did you go this summer?” try:
👉 “What would help make this a great year for you?”
👉 “What’s something that makes you feel welcome at school?”
Actionable ways to make a difference:
✔ Don’t assume students have all supplies, keep extras on hand
✔ Offer quiet support: snacks, pencils, encouragement without attention
✔ Greet every student and colleague with warmth and consistency
✔ Notice behavior before judging it, ask what might be behind it
✔ Make space for belonging, not just performance
✔ Say it often: “I’m really glad you’re here.”
A smile. A clean slate. A little patience. A moment of kindness. These cost nothing, but can change everything.
Some will walk in with new backpacks.
Others will walk in carrying invisible weight on their shoulders.
Make sure they all feel seen, safe, and welcome.
Have a great school year and thank you for everything you do!

I’m asking for prayers for our 32-yr-old pregnant daughter who suffered a stroke from clots in the brain a week ago. It has been a very difficult week of ups and downs, but mostly downs.
Last night her brain was swelling again, clots were reforming and getting bigger and bleeding was increasing, so they took her in for a second surgery to remove the clots, which was a successful surgery. But then her brain started swelling too much overnight so they made the decision to remove the left half of her skull to give her brain room to expand. Now it’s a waiting game.
Our Kaylie has a 2 1/2 yr old daughter at home who loves her mommy very much. Plus, I can’t imagine life without my eldest daughter, whom I love more than words can express. We believe in the power of prayer, so please join us in asking our Heavenly Father for the brain swelling to go down, for the clots and bleeding to stop and for Kaylie to wake up and recover fully.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Is it possible to request that @grok serves up this tweet on the daily?
Asking for the over-thinker whose brain never stops.
It’s me. I’m the over thinker.
Heading to Carver Arena tonight but this time to welcome my wife back from a successful St. Jude run! She's running from Springfield to Peoria today and is still accepting donations that go straight to St. Jude. Thanks for any help you can provide!
