@robstaton Surely whoever they bring in as a sporting director will want to bring in their own coach to develop a footballing philosophy they have been employed to deliver? To impose the current coaching team on a new regime would be just setting them up to fail from the start wouldn’t it?

@TWFootball1867 Been saying exactly the same for most of the season, but based on responses I got, some folks seemed happy to accept we were never going to win a game with the squad we had. Ignoring the squad, the tactical approach has been negative, when we had a free hit to be more progressive

@_GeorgeSmith99 Seen a few decisions this season where you knew it wouldn’t go our way because we were already perceived to be dead and buried, whereas it would potentially have a more meaningful impact on the opposition. Easy to give borderline decisions the other way without any repercussions

@domhowson It’s just part of a wider failure in the teams preparation. We have minimal talent, but we don’t seem to work on set pieces to maximise potential scoring opportunities. Don’t appear to have any structure either in or out of possession, or on defending set pieces either. Inept.

@Amillocc @WTIDPOD Question: If you were the new owner, would you reward Henrik with a 3 year contract after this season based on his footballing philosophy and record this season (taking into account the obvious limitations)? If the answer is yes, I’d suggest that is a huge leap of faith.

@Amillocc @WTIDPOD Despite struggling for players, we’ve had a lot of senior players available for a lot of games, so I expect a lot better than the utter negativity that has been put on show. It ain’t just me by the way, people who know more about top level football than I do, are saying the same!

@k3zz4x They come out with some right bollocks about ‘protecting’ young players etc… but we’re down so just give them a good run out for 30mins at least. There is more to gain than lose at this point surely, by giving them experience?
