@MateuszKaczysk9@visegrad24 I completely understand what you mean, I don’t think we can agree on this particular topic, but I thank you very much for sharing your views on it.
@MateuszKaczysk9@visegrad24 Thank you for the update about polish politics, it is not something we hear about in Denmark, and it is always interesting to hear what other countries deal with. You have been through so many horrible things, and wish you a good luck on that change.
@MateuszKaczysk9@visegrad24 Thank you, I have also only heard good things about Poland, and how beautiful cities like Warsaw and Gdańsk is. Though I have not heard a lot about immigration in Poland
@MateuszKaczysk9@visegrad24 but I think it is important to deferentiate between religion and nationality, but I still think that in this case, nationality is something that needs to be stated, because he is not a citizen of Denmark, in same way if he was Swedish or Spanish.
@MateuszKaczysk9@visegrad24 (1/2)Well I’m sorry to hear about how much racism in Scandinavia a mentioned in polish media, I think it is important to state that it is not a majority that has those opinions, but those who has, are very loud. I understand why you think this is a case of double standards,
@MateuszKaczysk9@visegrad24 (2/2) What do you mean about the history of emigration?, we took people from Germany and Poland after WW2, helped polish women that needed aborts during the soviet era, and took people from Türkiye who wanted a better life. Only recently we stopped, because of some unfortunate
@MateuszKaczysk9@visegrad24 (1/2) I would say it’s irrelevant whether he is a Muslim, Christian, or Hindu, it has been stated that it was not politically motivated, it was an intoxicated man, who randomly did it.
@MateuszKaczysk9@visegrad24 Well, I think that nationality should only be mentioned if it is relevant. In this case, the man didn’t speak danish, and needed a translator in the court, therefore it was relevant.
@visegrad24 (2/2) And the man who did it is a Polish citizen who has lived and worked in Denmark since 2019. And was intoxicated, and possible influence of drugs at the time. Though this does not make it ok.
@visegrad24 (1/2) Just some information to clarify, she was not “beaten up”, she was hit on her shoulder by a fist, though this is also serious, it is not as violent as you make it sound. She has not sustained any “head injuries”, she got a whiplash, though that can also be serious.
