@mcuban Jumping to universal healthcare doesn’t solve any of this. No patient understands what anything costs. I know of people that claim no insurance because paying for the broken arm with cash is cheaper than a copay. Let that sink in.
@R5Crosby@wilnerhotline I think it’s teams in other conferences that have either already told their coaches to not schedule or cancel games against TTU. The Big12 has many more levers to pull. The contract between the school and the conference has other teeth.
@Dan_Furman I think there is a disconnect for what collegiate sports was versus what it is now. Governments (fed and state) haven’t subsidized basketball and football. Maybe ever. I have no idea why you don’t think that college sports is not market driven.
@RadioSmuggles@GuntherEagleman What I think you are missing is that the Dems have sued again and again and lower courts have upheld that section 2 of the VRA intended specific districts to be based on race. The restricting in many states have been following the lower courts ruling.
@BernieSanders Did they create jobs? Did they make money? Did they provide other value? You should only be upset about who pays or doesn’t pay taxes if you want to spend their money.
@skumWgmi He didn’t buy $8 coffee daily or go out to eat a dozen times a month or have a $1500 cell phone and plan or get a college degree in a discipline that has no value in society because that is what he wanted. Come on. Don’t try to compare without thinking about your choices.
@hovah76@CoachTTMP It’s nothing other than him drawing criticism for his behavior that people don’t like. People tend to nitpick people they don’t like personally.
@MaseDenver They won many 1 score games and in the 4th quarter. Statistically that is nearly impossible to do in back to back years. Don’t look at the record and think dominance. That’s the problem. If they run it back with the same guys and don’t improve the roster, the record will regress.
@tedcruz “I’m from the government. I’m here to help?” Government isn’t the answer to a free market problem. The NCAA or the conferences will figure it out. There are plenty of existing models for them to figure it out. It may take a few seasons but they will figure it out.
@secnumbersguy lol Hardy’s average per carry is 5.7 and Love’s is 6.9. It too Hardy 237 to Love’s 163. “Let’s cherry pick a stat and base our whole argument on that even if all other stats prove me wrong.” Hardy doesn’t even rank in ESPN’s top five RBs this year.
