This may seem to be the last straw. The past years were just a prelude of what was going to be. Humans as we are, we do make mistakes but what they fail to recognize is what prompt them to have those mistakes in the first place. A system that should serve FOR the people.
“All those years of loyalty & hard work, forgotten. Just one small mistake, & suddenly, their whole impression of you shifts, as if all the good you did was never real. It’s like everything you built w/ them means nothing now—you’re just another face they’re ready to cast aside.”
“You’re always putting out fires, rarely catching your breath. And the truth is, when you’re this exhausted, even a small mistake, a bad decision, a single unkind word can unravel you. Not bc it’s huge, but bc your mental space is already fragile. There’s just no margin left.“
“We were raised on ‘Love Serves,’ taught to give without expecting, to put others before ourselves. But now that we’re working, we see that gratitude doesn’t pay the bills. We struggle, we sacrifice—yet why do we still feel guilty for choosing ourselves first?”
